The Technology Days 2025 of the German-speaking SAP User Group (DSAG) will be held under the motto: Strategy Royale: Call, Raise or Fold? A good strategy and well-considered decisions form the basis for investments in IT solutions and SAP software. Borrowed from the game of poker, Call stands for possible solu-tions for companies that want to use their SAP systems and only invest as much as is necessary. Raise refers to well thought-out, sustainable and strategic deci-sions, particularly with regard to the new SAP target strategy and the implemen-tation of new (cloud) technologies. And Fold stands for the option to pass after intensive examination and to look for an alternative. Around 3,300 participants are expected to attend the event at the RheinMain CongressCenter in Wiesbaden.
This year, the German-speaking SAP User Group e. V. (DSAG) once again asked about the investment plans of companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The key findings: The general willingness to invest in IT solutions and also in SAP solutions continues to increase. With regard to the SAP Enterprise Re-source Planning (ERP) solutions SAP Business Suite, SAP S/4HANA On-Premises and S/4HANA Cloud, it is clear that S/4HANA continues to gain in im-portance. The same applies to RISE and GROW with SAP. In addition, the survey participants confirm that the importance of SAP for their company will continue to grow. Significant differences compared to the previous year are particularly evident in the assessment of the S/4HANA Cloud strategy, the investment plans for S/4HANA Cloud and the assessments of RISE and GROW with SAP as well as the use of the Business Suite.
Auch in diesem Jahr hat die Deutschsprachige SAP-Anwendergruppe e. V. (DSAG) wieder nach den Investitionsplanungen der Unternehmen in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz gefragt. Zentrale Ergebnisse: Die generelle Investiti-onsbereitschaft in IT-Lösungen und auch in SAP-Lösungen steigt weiter. Bezo-gen auf die SAP-Enterprise-Resource-Planning (ERP)-Lösungen SAP Business Suite, SAP S/4HANA On-Premises und S/4HANA Cloud zeigt sich, dass S/4HANA weiterhin an Bedeutung gewinnt. Gleiches gilt für RISE und GROW with SAP. Dar-über hinaus bestätigen die Umfrageteilnehmenden, dass die Bedeutung von SAP für ihr Unternehmen weiterwachsen wird. Signifikante Unterschiede zum Vorjahr zeigen sich vor allem bei der Einschätzung zur S/4HANA-Cloud-Strategie, den Investitionsplanungen hinsichtlich S/4HANA Cloud und bei den Einschätzungen zu RISE und GROW with SAP sowie dem Einsatz der Business Suite.
